Hello from Pickerel Lake in West Central Minnesota! We're Kate and Craig Kleindl, proud caretakers of our beloved AKC Standard Poodles (and friends) who share our lakeside paradise.

Our four-legged family members thrive in this natural playground, with endless opportunities to run through open spaces, splash in the lake, and simply enjoy being dogs in the great outdoors.

Here at Pickerel Pups, our breeding philosophy blends heart with expertise. We thoughtfully match parents whose qualities complement each other—from stunning coat colors and excellent AKC conformation to those wonderful intelligent and affectionate personalities that make Pickerel Pups so special. We're dedicated to continuous learning and improving our breeding program with each generation.

Health testing is non-negotiable for us. We rigorously screen our parent dogs because we firmly believe that healthy beginnings create the foundation for a lifetime of happiness and wellbeing. Our commitment extends to how we raise each puppy—following the renowned Puppy Culture method to provide early enrichment, socialization, and the loving attention that shapes confident, well-adjusted companions.
